From her own studio, Sara was responsible for the cutting and making the costumes for Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch), Dr John Watson (Martin Freeman) and Mycroft Holmes (Mark Gatiss) for the BBC adaptation of the Abominable Bride. With the episode being set in Victorian times, Sara used historical books to draft her patterns to ensure period accuracy. There was a particular challenge in cutting a suit for Mark Gatiss, who in his fat suit had a waist measurement of 90 inches!
